Northridge Fire Extinguished

One person was injured in the blaze, according to the LAFD.

A fire damaged the rear addition and attic of a single-story home in Northridge Monday night, and one person was injured, according to authorities.

The fire at 18651 Bryant St., one block west of Reseda Boulevard, was reported at 7:33 p.m., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The fire was knocked down in 17 minutes by 27 firefighters, Humphrey said.
