No Injuries in Bus Fire on Topanga Canyon Boulevard

The fire is quickly put out, but it's unclear how it ignited.

A transit bus that caught fire near the 11500 block of north Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Chatsworth was extinguished in about 15 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

There were no injuries in the vehicle blaze reported at 8:17 a.m. that was knocked down by 30 firefighters, said department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

The fire also burned an unspecified amount of nearby acreage, he said.
