UPDATE: Missing Mentally Impaired 13-Year-Old Girl Is Found
Valae Zonora Young was last seen walking on Cohasset Street between Oso and Mason avenues.

A 13-year-old who went missing in Winnetka after an argument with her mother was found today, and apparently was unharmed, police said.
Valae Zonora Young was last seen at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday walking on Cohasset Street between Oso and Mason avenues. She has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department's Topanga Station.

Police sought public help to find her, and circulated her description and photo. She was found about 6:30 a.m., and she apparently is okay, according to an officer at the Topanga Station.

Police today were seeking the public's help in locating a 13-year-old girl with a mental impairment who went missing in Winnetka.
Valae Zonora Young was last seen at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday walking on Cohasset Street between Oso and Mason avenues. She has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department's Topanga Station.
Young is black, 5 feet 4 and 150 pounds, with black braided hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black and purple long-sleeved blouse, blue jeans and was carrying a pink backpack with the Disney character Princess Tiana on it.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call the Topanga Station at 818-756-4800.
