Charles "Tex" Watson is trying his darnedest to keep his old out of the hands of the LAPD.
The recorded interviews with his former attorney where made years ago when Watson waived client-attorney privilege to aid a prison chaplain write a book.
Police want to find out if there is any evidence of additional murders orchestrated by Charles Manson. Manson and his "family" lived at the old Spahn Movie Ranch in Chatsworth when they launched their killing spree in 1989.
A judge had ordered the tapes released to the LAPD, but Watson's new attorney found another Texas judge to deny the police access ... for now.
