Kennedy High School assistant baseball coach Pedro Cruz Trujillo was arrested for allegedly smoking marijuana on the way to and from Dodger Stadium as he took six students to a Los Angeles Dodgers game, police said Monday.

An investigation began when a staff member at the Granada Hills school overheard students talking about the outing. He talked to police on May 25 and detectives worked closely with school authorities to confirm the allegations and to find out if there had been other incidents.

Anyone with additional information on the case was asked to call Devonshire Division Detective Ray Webb at 818-832-0537.
