Woman Reports Justin Bieber Attempted to Steal Her Phone

Bieber news moves north from Calabasas and his egging allegations to Northridge after an alleged incident in Sherman Oaks.

A woman who alleges that pop star Justin Bieber tried to take her cellphone out of her purse so he could erase any pictures she had taken of him was interviewed at an undisclosed location tonight.

An officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Devonshire Community Police Station in Northridge said the unidentified woman was interviewed by detectives from the Robbery Homicide Division, but not at the station.

The celebrity news website TMZ reported the interview was conducted at the woman's home.

NBC4 reported the woman accused Bieber of taking her cellphone, after he claimed she had been taking pictures of him Monday night at Sherman Oaks Castle Park, the site of a miniature golf course, batting cages and video arcade.

The station reported the incident followed Bieber posting a video of himself on social media from the site.

The woman told TMZ she had not taken any photos of Bieber.
