High-Speed Police Chase in Northridge Ends in Crash; 2 Injured

LAPD officers responded to a report of a man with a knife at a nearby Target. Two suspects initiated a pursuit, KABC reports.

At least two people, including a suspect, were injured in a multi-car crash during a high-speed police pursuit in Northridge Monday afternoon, KABC reported.

According to KABC, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a report of a man with a knife at a nearby Target at 3:15 p.m. When the police arrived, two suspects fled the scene in a car and initiated a high-speed chase.

The pursuit ended when the suspects struck a Jeep at the intersection of Devonshire Street and Woodley Avenue and hit a Kia at an adjacent Chevron station, according to KABC. A passenger in the Kia and one of the suspects were taken to a nearby hospital.
