High School Senior Shot After Dropping off Prom Date
Julian Archer is reportedly in critical condition.
A local man is hospitalized, having been shot this weekend while dropping off his prom date in Northridge.
Los Angeles police officials did not respond to a reporter's inquiries. However, several TV news teams have identified the victim as Julian Archer, who had just returned from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, where his school, Heritage Christian, had just celebrated prom.
Neighbors report hearing four gunshots around 4 a.m. Sunday on Mayall Street in Northridge. CBS reports three of those hit Archer.
Archer was driving at the time, reports NBC Los Angeles, and after being hit, he continued on for about 50 more yards until hitting a tree.
