Despite the political flap over deployment of , budgets and , firefighters are still doing their duty including rescuing victims of traffic accidents.
Chatsworth Fire Stations 96 and 107 rushed to the scene of a three-car smash-up at Winnetka Avenue and Plummer Street following Sunday's rain. Chatsworth Patch reader Raffi was there to record the action with his camera. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to pry the door off one vehicle, freeing the driver.
There were three injuries with at least two victims rushed to the hospital, Raffi reported.
