Firefighters Rescue Three Teens from Cliff at Stoney Point Park

When a 15-year-old girl used her shirt to dress a wound, a firefighter gave her the shirt right off his back, literally.

Los Angeles firefighters rescued an 11-year-old boy, his 15-year-old sister and another friend from a cliff at Stoney Point Park in Chatsworth today.

“An 11-year-old boy, his 15-year-old sister and another friend had been out hiking when the boy injured his arm," said freelance photographer Greg Doyle. "The sister used her shirt to dress the wound and called for help, advising that they were unable to get down."

The distress call came in at 3 p.m., Doyle said. Two helicopters responded, but firefighter determined they could reach the trio by ladder.
