Firefighters Douse Chatsworth Kitchen Fire in 14 Minutes

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Firefighters today quickly extinguished a kitchen fire in a Chatsworth-area house, and no one was hurt.

The cause of the 1:17 p.m. blaze in the 202200 block of Foix Place was under investigation, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The flames were extinguished in 14 minutes. Main indicated that crews encountered an excessive amount of stored items inside the residence.
