Fire Burns Cal State Northridge Dorm
The fire damages the kitchen of a housing unit on campus.
A fire burned today in a California State University, Northridge dorm, but no one was harmed, a city fire official said.
The blaze was reported at 5:56 p.m. in a campus housing unit located at 9500 Zelzah Ave., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire burned in the kitchen of the unit and was out by 6:05 p.m., Humphrey said.
