Firefighters extinguish the flames in 20 minutes.

A fire damaged a two-story commercial building in Chatsworth Monday, but no one was hurt, authorities said.

Firefighters sent to the 9400 block of North Corbin Avenue at 8:23 a.m. extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The building, part of the former Washington Mutual campus, was built in 1980 and is up for lease.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
