Car thieves have been targeting older-model Toyotas, Nissan and Hondas along Reseda Boulevard in the Northridge area, authorities said today.
Officer Shawn Beale of the Los Angeles Police Department's Devonshire Division said the problem was particularly apparent on Reseda between Devonshire and Nordhoff streets.
Anyone seeing anything suspicious, such as someone tampering or breaking into a car, was asked to call 911.
