Brush Fire near 118 Freeway and Topanga Canyon Bl. Snuffed Out in 23 Minutes

According to LAFD's Erik Scott, 20 firefighters knocked down the fire, no injuries reported.

 

Around 5:09 p.m., in the middle of rush hour, a small grass fire was reported near the westbound lanes of the 118 Freeway at Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Porter Ranch, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department. 

Twenty firefighters responded to the scene close to Stoney Point Park, and extinguished the fire in 23 minutes. No injuries were reported.
