Brush Fire Breaks Out in Chatsworth

A fire in an unincorporated area of Chatsworth has consumed a half-acre of brush, authorities said.

The blaze was reported at 4:21 p.m. in the 24000 block of Woolsey Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The 85 fire personnel and helicopter currently on the scene were expected to be able to handle the flames, according to department officials.
