Woman's Body Found Outside Home in Granada Hills

Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found outside a home in Granada Hills.
Someone called 911 around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to report the death, said Sgt. Jeff Stahl of the Los Angeles Police Department's Devonshire Station.
The house where the body was found is near the corner of Devonshire Street and Encino Avenue, he said.

The name of the woman, who was in her 40s, was withheld, pending notification of her relatives, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
