Attic Fire Reported in Northridge

No word yet on the extent of damage in the Friday blaze.

UPDATE, 4:40 p.m.--Thirty-six firefighters knocked down the fire in 27 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters are battling an attic fire in a single-story house in the 9400 block of Geyser Avenue in the Northridge area, according to the Los Angeles Fire Deparment.
