Attic Fire Extinguished in Northridge Victorian-Style Home

It took 35 minutes to douse the flames, according to the LAFD.

It took 46 firefighters 35 minutes to extinguish an attic fire in what was described as a Victorian-style house in Northridge on Sunday.

The fire on the 9400 block of Claire Avenue was reported just before 7 p.m. according to Brian Humphrey, fire department spokesman. He described the house as a 31-year-old, 5,545-square-foot, two story wood frame home.
