ALERT: Police Warn Neighbors to Monitor Vacant Homes

There's been an increase in stolen vehicles, cars break-ins and thefts of bicycles.

[This news release comes from the Devonshire Division of the LAPD.]

All area residents are advised of increased theft activity of air conditioning units being taken from vacant homes. 

In addition we are also seeing an increase in stolen vehicles, cars break-ins and thefts of bicycles.   

Please make an effort to monitor vacant homes near your residence and remove all valuables from your vehicles. Use available locking devices to secure your cars and bicycles. 

Be vigilant and report all suspicious activity to the LAPD direct dispatch center at 877-275-5273.
