70 Firefighters Extinguish Northridge Blaze

The fire was out after 22 minutes.

Seventy firefighters knocked down a fire at a home in the Northridge area Monday afternoon in 22 minutes.

Firefighters were called to a board and care home at 19165 Roscoe Blvd., near Tampa Avenue at 2:38 p.m., said Los Angeles firefighters spokesperson Shawn Lenske.

The fire was put out and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire and the damage amount were under investigation, Lenske said.
