Disapearing green space in Chatsworth Park South?

Rockpointe Townhouse residents recently became aware of a plan to remove the green space bordering the complex in the park and convert it into a gravel parking lot. A Local Volunteer Neighborhood Oversight Committee (LVNOC) appointed by Councilman Englander approved this plan but neglected to advise the residents or the Townhouse Association and have not conducted any environmental studies.

Recent attempts to obtain LVNOC meeting minutes or materials used in the approval process from the Councilman's office have been unsuccessful.

Reduction of any green space in our community is detrimental to all of Chatsworth, not just those living close by.
