Another Perfect Day in Paradise

6:15am: Look out bedroom window- aww- its gonna be a pretty sunrise today. Close eyes. Sleep. Still dark.

6:23 Open eyes halfway-peek at sunrise-pink & lavender cotton candy clouds. Tell myself stay in bed- do the zen thing & just enjoy. Shh-no need to photo every damn sunrise.

6:40- Peek again. Holy *%#*!  Fling covers, leap into vertical position. Grab camera. Shoes! I need shoes. Slippers-close enough. Fly out back door-only minutes to do this. Run across field in plaid Christmas jammies. Try not to scare slumbering geese with giant red blob hurdling towards them. Crawl through bamboo, slip on wet rock. Take photos. Walk home with soggy slippers & magic box containing treasures. Start day.
