Well, since we are doing baby steps here to a healthier you, I'm going to give you one that you can do anywhere, anytime.
Just suck it up and do it. Sit up tall, shoulders back, head aligned with your spine. Now, suck your belly button back to your spine. Don't hold your breath. Release. Do it again. Pull your stomach muscles in, hold and then release. You can do this RIGHT NOW.
Try this in the line at the store or bank. Try it while driving. How about at a red light? Count how many times you can suck it in until it turns green. Try to do 3 sets of 25 several times during the day.
You are doing a form of sit-ups without having to lie on the ground and grunt. Hey, try it on the couch during commercials. Suck it in while waiting for something to download while on the computer or waiting for that text message answer. If you do it, it will work.
