Where to Hunt for Easter Eggs on Sunday

Freedom Church is hiding 20,000 eggs at Chatsworth High School.

Freedom Church, you know, , have moved to larger space at Chatsworth High School where Easter Sunday they'll be hiding 20,000 eggs filled with candy, golden tickets and raffle prizes including, Disneyland passes, a $500 Toys-R-Us shopping spree, Nintendo Wii and more.

The first 1,000 people to register by clicking here will receive a free Easter egg bag.

Services will be at 9:30 and 11 a.m. at 10027 Lurline Ave., and the Chatsworth High School football field will open from noon to 3 p.m. with the Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 1 p.m.

There will be food trucks including: Me So Hungry, Lets Be Frank, Krazy BBQ and All American Softy!

In the past year Freedom Church has given away 200 bikes, 1,500 school backpacks and 300 Christmas trees to families in need.

Sunday's sponsors include: , Hillcrest Christian-Los Angeles Baptist, ONE Water, Regency Lighting, , , and .

The 41 annual Condor Squadron Easter Egg Hunt begins 1 p.m. at 7800 Havenhurst Ave., Van Nuys, on the west side of the airport. Bring a basket. There will e toys, games, refrishments and visit from the Easter Bunny.

 

Here's a Selection of Eggstravaganzas Taking Place Saturday

  • Winnetka Recreation Center -- Egg hunt, 9 a.m.-noon. 8401 Winnetka Ave. 818-756-7876.
  • Eggstravaganza and Family Health and Safety Fair -- Arts and crafts, games, hunt for ages 2-12 at 10:30-11:30 a.m., and petting zoo, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Shadow Ranch Park, 22633 Vanowen St., West Hills. 818-883-3637. WestValleyEvents.org
