Sunday's the Rancho San Antonio BBQ and Classic Chevy Show

This is the 65th annual open house at Chatsworth's "Boys Home of the West."

, the "Boys Home of the West," is holding its , barbecue and classic Chevy car show Sunday on the campus at 21000 Plummer St., in Chatsworth.

The grounds will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Here's a description of the event from the Rancho newsletter:

It’s that time of year again to join us for our 65th Annual Open House and car show. This yearly event allows the public to join us for a tour of our beautiful campus and to learn more about the wonderful programs offered to the resident youth at the agency. The tour, led by the boys here at Rancho San Antonio, offers quite an experience to the public. You will learn about their incredible stories of resiliency that has brought them here on their path to becoming young adults.

After the tours, join us for our world famous BBQ that will surely have you mesmerized by the aroma of our mouthwatering ribs, juicy chicken, and succulent steak dinners. Raffle tickets will also be on sale with proceeds directly going to Rancho San Antonio. The Classic Chevy Car Show of Southern California will also be displaying automobiles for the public to view. The show is also opened to all makes and models of cars. Be sure to mark your calendars for May 6th 11:00 am to 4:00 pm as we celebrate the 65th Annual Open House and Car Show.
