Shepherd of the Hills Church will be sponsoring a free classic car show Saturday, May 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the tri-valley area of San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Simi valleys.
The church, at 19700 Rinaldi St., Porter Ranch, is expecting hundreds of cars, bikes, trucks and thousands of spectators. There will be top fuel race cars and a drag racing cacklefest display.
There will be live classic rock performed by DC Overdrive, as well as a kids area and some favorite food trucks.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded in 18 different classes including "Best In Show" and "Kid’s Choice."
Proceeds from the show go toward building water wells for villages in Africa.
