Hey, Hey Ralphie Boy,,Innovative Marketing Opportunity in Chatsworth

One of the biggest banes of living in Chatsworth is that 'our' Ralph's simply does not compare with the Porter Ranch Super Store.  Renovation of the 30 year old store is welcomed, but the changes still do not equalize the two stores.  Kroger should have been a bit more innovative by taking over the long vacated pharamacy building and convert the buiding to a combination bakery, deli, gourmet, and wine shoppe..  Kroger's could have converted this space as a free standing store within a store not only selling deli sandwiches, but also selling baked goods, gourmet food items, cheeses, and wines.  Seems this type of store would have good street presence and provide the kind of selection that Porter Ranch provides.  There is also a drive up window where a customer can pre-order with a convenient pick up feature.  This store could also feature take home dinners and wine tastings as they have in Calabasas at Albertson's.  Here is an opportunity for innovation, which Kroger's could have seized upon.  A smart real estate agent handling that shopping facility should have presented this opportunity to Kroger's making Chatsworth a place where marketing innovation could flourish.
