"Cyrano de Bergerac" at Highland Hall Waldorf School

In the Los Angeles premiere of Emily Frankel's delightfully
clever adaption of "Cyrano de Bergerac," Highland Hall high school
students give life to the classic tale of the poetic nobleman who pines for his
enchanting cousin Roxane, yet is too ashamed to court her because of his
enormous nose. When Cyrano learns she has fallen in love with the dimwitted yet
handsome cadet, Christian, he devises a way to live vicariously through Christian
by providing romantic words guaranteed to win her heart. Bursting with wit,
drama, heart-filled music and edge-of-your-seat sword fighting, this production
will make you laugh, cry, and cheer for the underdog as courage triumphs over
beauty.
