Small Quake Shakes the Westside; Did You Feel It?

Magnitude-2.8 temblor has epicenter 11 miles below Hawthorne.

A magnitude-2.8 earthquake shook under Hawthorne Wednesday night.

With an epicenter 11 miles below Hawthorne, the quake struck at 10:33 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

People in Beverly Hills, El Segundo and Redondo Beach reported feeling the earthquake to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no reports of injuries or damages.
