Accomplishment: "In addition to carrying a 3.6 GPA and scoring 1680 on the SAT, Jasmine led an inexperienced Chatsworth girls' basketball team with only 2 returning varsity players to the West Valley League championship with a 10-0 record and into the quarterfinals of the C.I.F. City-Section playoffs.  A 5-8 point guard, Jasmine led the entire league in scoring (17.4), assists (6.0), Steals (4.2) and charges taken (14) and was fifth in rebounds (7.6), first among guards.  A shoe-in for the West Valley League Player of the Year award, Jasmine is also one of the front-runners for City-Section Player of the Year and has earned a ... [and she] has been selected MaxPreps Team Player of the Year by her coaches.  It is the second straight year she's won the award."

Key to Awesomeness: "The key to Jasmine's awesomeness is her bubbly personality, sparkling smile, intense work ethic and never-say-die attitude.  She's a wonderful person on the court, in the classroom and especially at home and I think is deserving of consideration for Chatsworth Patch Whiz Kid. -- Todd Wooton, father
