Did 3 Small Quakes Bump You Awake Friday?

Temblors rattled San Fernando and Newhall.

The earth moved Friday morning. Three Times. Did you feel it?

Two separate magnitude 2.7 quakes struck four miles northwest of San Fernando just before 8 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

A third, smaller magnitude 1.8 quake hit a half-hour later at 8:30 a.m. about four miles southeast of Newhall.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The USGS says that there have been 22 small earthquakes in the Southland since Jan. 6.
