Commuter Alert: Southbound 405 to Close Overnight Monday

The work at Sunset Boulevard is part of the Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project.

Southbound lanes of the San Diego Freeway will be closed between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday as crews work on a new bridge at Sunset Boulevard, authorities said Wednesday.

The northbound side of the freeway was closed for a time on Tuesday for the same project.

The bridge itself will be closed from 10 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Sepulveda Boulevard from Montana Avenue to Church Lane and Sunset Bridge will be closed, starting at 10 p.m. and continuing to 6 a.m. Thursday.

The work is part of the Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project.
