Carmageddon Gallery: L.A. Bridge Is Falling Down

The San Diego Freeway is cleared of cars so demolition of the Mulholland Drive bridge can begin.

Ramps to the normally clogged Interstate 405 were shut down Friday evening before the entire roadway was closed at midnight, setting the stage for the 53-hour Mulholland Drive bridge demolition project.
