Breathe easy -- Metro is retiring its last diesel bus to make way for a fully alternatively fueled fleet, the only one of its kind in the world.
- On Wednesday at 10 a.m., Los Angeles will officially have the only fully alternatively fuled bus fleet worldwide. Metro will make a clean and completely green start in this new year when it retires its last diesel bus.
- Apparently, gas prices just wanted to see if we were paying attention. Prices for gas resumed their slow uphill climb today due to increased crude oil costs. The ARCO station at 9500 De Soto Ave., however, is still holding steady at $3.15 per gallon of regular gas.
