Thank You to the Chatsworth Community for Food Pantry Help

The U.S. Postal Workers Food Drive of May 12th results in 9 tons of food for hungry people in Chatsworth.

Over 60 volunteers of all ages carried, sorted and packed over 9 TONS of canned food from the U.S.Postal Workers food drive on Saturday, May 12th, at the Congregational Church of Chatsworth. 

Volunteers came from several churches, Boy Scout Troops, and all walks of life, including food recipients.  The food will be distributed to needy people throughout the year at Fish Food Pantry, 20440 Lassen Street, on Saturday afternoons at 4:00 pm. 

Additionally,the Partners of Hope Food Pantry is scheduled to open at the United Methodist Church on Topanga in early June. If you are interested in learning more about these local food pantries call 818-882-3474.
