Sasha Needs a Forever Home

My family is quickly approaching our first anniversary as foster parents for Life4Paws. During this time we have hosted many wonderful dogs who briefly stayed with us and then went on to new forever homes. We have also had one failed attempt at fostering. Fosters are not supposed to keep their dogs but for one we could not resist and she is now a permanent part of our family.

Our current foster is Sasha. She was rescued from the streets of Mexico. As a result of her former situation she can seem very timid when you first meet her. However, once she warmed up to us she showed us what a loving dog she is. She likes to cuddle up next to me as I watch TV and push her way through the bigger dogs to greet me when I come from work. She can swim and make her way to the stairs in the pool, but she is not very fond of the experience.

You can visit Sasha at the weekly Sunday adoption event at the Petco in Canoga Park. They are located at 6615 Fallbrook Avenue, between Victory and Vanowen. The hours are 11:00 to 3:00.
