Local nonprofit Sweetwater Ranch, a rescue home for horses that also offers equine therapy, has settled into a new home in Chatsworth.
Previously housed in the neighborhood, the organization is now located at 12100 Browns Canyon Rd.
"It's absolutely gorgeous here...we seized the opportunity," said Candi Cane Cooper, who's run the foundation since 2009.
Sweetwater Ranch is home to ten horses that have been either surrendered or rescued as well as six horses used for non-riding therapy sessions with veterans, abused children and clients suffering from post-traumatic stress.
