Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne Is Up for Sale
The company employs 1,500 workers at two facilities.
They took us into space and back, and now the Daily News is reporting that Canoga Park's "Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, a rocket-engine maker dating from the dawn of the Cold War and American space program, is up for sale."
"United Technologies said Thursday it will sell its rocket engine and wind power businesses to help finance its $16.5 billion purchase of aerospace supplier Goodrich Corp."
