Khun Dang Thai is very good. Also to note they really package the food well for take out. (they vent the stuff that shouldn't get soggy, and seal the sauces. Besides that the food is very good. The place is nice as well. Love open kitchen in a restaurant. Thai West... I really loved the food when I ate there, and when I had take out, but not sure who owns it now. Also the inside is rather drab.(they might have given it a lift since last time I went it). Thai Valley used to be the best until a few years back. They just were bad...and even worse after the expansion...I would avoid it. All the ingredients are low rate. Amazing Thai Bar & Grill is the worst. If you want drinks and music maybe OK. For food I would steer clear. There have been reports of major stomach aches on Yelp reviews from a number of people. I tried it twice,(As I always like to give a place a chance) and twice I had stomach aches. If you see the kitchen, you will be in shock.

Khun Dang ! they will give you the real Thai, not just candied sweet stuff. I agree with Phil

Khun Dang is very good and has some unusual dishes you won't find at most other Thai restaurants. Thai West and Thai Valley are also decent, but boring. I would agree that Thai Valley used to be better. I have not been to My Thai in a long time because I found their food to have very poor quality. I won't go to House of Thai BBQ anymore due to MSG. They say they don't use any, but every time I went there (and for a short time I was a regular) I got a migraine. They probably do not actually add MSG, but some ingredient they use a lot must have MSG already in it.

The only place I have tried in Amazing Thai. I was happy with it granted my main purpose was to drink really. I will have to try other places though.

Now that Northridge and Catsworth have merged, I vote for Lum Ka Nad! :-)
