Yard House, Elephant Bar Coming to Northridge Fashion Center

Two new restaurants are coming to the Northridge Fashion Center.

Scheduled to open late in the fall of 2012, Yard House and Elephant Bar will join the center's popular restaurant row, which already features California Pizza Kitchen, Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill, Claim Jumper and Romano's Macaroni Grill.  In addition to the two new restaurants, Northridge Fashion Center will add an outdoor amphitheater where the community will find entertainment, concerts and programs.  

"The area adjacent to Macy's is the perfect destination for today's California lifestyle. A natural gathering spot for the community that appeals to so many people because of its excellent restaurant choices, Pacific Theatres 10Plex and the weekly Farmers' Market," says Daniyel Gordon, senior general manager, Northridge Fashion Center.  

Yard House, which will span more than 10,000 square feet, will be located near the movie theaters, in the former Cost Plus location.  Offering one of the largest selections of draft beers, a diverse menu of American fusion fare, and a heady selection of classic contemporary rock on a state-of-the-art sound system, Yard House at Northridge Fashion Center will feature a center island bar and an endless fleet of tap handles ranging from classic lagers to more obscure ales.  

"We're extremely excited to be opening our very first San Fernando Valley location," said Harald Hermann, president and CEO of Yard House Restaurants.  "Not only is Northridge Fashion Center centrally located, but we found the tenant mix to be a nice complement to our concept."  

At nearly 6,700 square feet, The Elephant Bar is scheduled to open this summer and will be located adjacent to Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill and The Sports Authority. The dining adventure begins with a passion for great food with globally inspired bold flavors and recipes, made from the freshness quality ingredients, enhanced by the smoke infused flavors of wood-fired grilling and the distinct seared flavors from the intense heat of carbon steel woks. Over the years, Elephant Bar has also become known for its unique happy hour food and drink specialties.
