Hundreds Camp Out to Win Free Chick-fil-A Food for a Year

Northridge restaurant opens today across the street from two burger joints.

You might call it a chicken fight. Dozens of tents have been set up in the parking lot of the new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening today at 8875 Tampa Ave. in Northridge.

Across the street is a new Five Guys Burgers and Fries and an In-N-Out burger place near Costco (which, by the way, has a heck of a hot dog and soda deal).

But the tent people are ignoring the competition because they are all waiting to claim a free year's supply of Chick-fil-A food for the first 100 customers in line.
