Hostess Outlet Clerks Face an Uncertain Future

Chatsworth's Hostess Bakery Outlet impacted by company's bankruptcy restructuring.

Not only are Twinkies and Ding Dongs in jeopardy with the bankruptcy restructuring of Hostess Brands Inc., but employees in their Chatsworth face an uncertain future.

Gilda Villa, 56, of the told the San Fernando Valley Business Journal that “she has no idea what is going to happen” and has not been told whether the facility at 9847 De Soto Ave. will close or not.

“Customers don’t want us to close,” Villa told the Busness Journal. “They hate what’s going on.”

There are 65 employees in Hostess shops in Chatsworth, Camarillo, and Glendale.
