Gasoline Price Is Up Again for 6th Consecutive Day
Supply issues may be resolved in next week, Auto Club reports.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Tuesday for the sixth consecutive day, increasing 1.2 cents to $4.398.
The increases stem from record low gasoline inventories and continued refinery issues that may resolve themselves "in the next week," said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
The average price is 16.9 cents more than one week ago, 15.2 cents higher than one month ago and 16.1 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price also rose Tuesday for the sixth consecutive day, increasing 1.1 cents to $4.383, 17.5 cents more than a week ago, 16.4 cents higher than one month ago and 17 cents greater than one year ago.
