Elephant Bar Finally Opens at Northridge Fashion Center

The good reviews have already begun.

The Elephant Bar has finally opened at Northridge Fashion Center, 9301 Tampa Ave.

Patch reader Ann Vincent advises: "The Elephant Bar just opened in Northridge... Just a heads up that if you get a chance to check it out... eat in the bar section of the restaurant. They have a great ipod ordering system at each table. Very high-tech!"

And folks over at Yelp have good words, too.

Valerie C. of Porter Ranch says: "Went to the new Elephant Bar on Saturday for their practice service prior to their official opening which is Monday 3/11.  Very impressed.  Food and service was great and the inside decor is beautiful.  We will definately go back.  I really like their menu.  Not the usual same old stuff.  You gotta try this place."

Raffi I. of West Hills says: "Excellent Service was here at the grand opening. Food was excellent everything was perfect. Ordered a few dishes. My recommendation for a starter are the Coconut Shrimp skewers. For the main dish I recommend the Yaki Salmon or the Parmesan Chicken and Tuscan Style Shrimp. These two were the winners of the night and to top it off for dessert it's a tough one ... between the Hot Apple Blueberry Walnut Cobbler and the e-bar which is a hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on top."

I had no idea that they were opening a new one there... One of my favorite places for special occasions! The one in Ventura was closed awhile back, leaving only the Simi location nearby the 118 corridor. That one is always busy with a wait, so hopefully the new one will ease the wait for a quality, HEALTHFUL meal!
