Dickey's Barbecue Pit Holds Grand Opening Near CSUN

It was a "great day, full of energy from the local community," said the restaurant owner.

It was shoulder-to-shoulder and belly-to-belly for the grand opening of Dickey's Barbecue Pit, 9035 Reseda Blvd., just blocks away from Cal State Northridge.

Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches were only a buck for much of Friday's celebration, and the first 200 customers received bottles of BBQ sauce.

It was a “great day, full of energy from the local community," said franchise owner Todd Schwartz. "I enjoyed serving our authentic mouthwatering barbecue and getting to know the local community better."
