Big Boy's Back With New Folks In Charge

They'll be opening the doors on Wednesday.

All the cool Cats and Kitties have been finding the doors to Bob's Big Boy locked lately.

What to do when jonesing for an Original Double-Decker? Or a Chili Size? Or some Hot Fudge Ice Cream Cake?

Well, the chain launched in Glendale in 1936 with the jingle generated from the sale of a DeSoto Roadster, is reopening under new management Wednesday at 8876 Corbin Ave., Northridge. According to a sign in the window, the folks who run the Burbank Bob's are taking over, spiffing up the place, and getting ready to unlock the doors.
