The economy may be struggling, but the banking industry in Chatsworth is booming.
Yet another savings institution will be opening along the Devonshire Street financial corridor on Dec. 10 when Bank of the West begins accepting deposts.
Located in the completely remodeled site of the former Wachovia branch at 20516-A Devonshire St., Bank of the West joins six banks already along the corridor. Wachovia merged into Wells Fargo across the street on Mason Avenue.
Other Devonshire Street-area banks include OneWest, Union Bank, Bank of America, Citibank, Wells Fargo and Chase. See the adjacent map for locations.
