SANTA CLARITA IS ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC
This summer, the SANTA CLARITA REGIONAL THEATRE will present the world’s most beloved musical, “The Sound of Music” at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons. This was the final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein and the motion picture version remains the most popular movie musical of all time.
The SANTA CLARITA REGIONAL THEATRE is a division of the Canyon Theatre Guild, and presents a large musical each season in the larger venue at COC. “The Sound of Music” will have performances on Saturdays at 8:00 PM on July 21, 28 and August 4 and 11; Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM will be July 22, 29, August 5 and August 12. Ticket prices range from $12 to $29 depending on seat location and Junior or Senior discounts. Group rates are also available. Tickets are now on sale at the SCRT/CTG box office, 661-799-2702. The box office is located in the CTG lobby at 24242 Main Street, Newhall, but all performances will be at the Performing Arts Center.
