North Valley Disaster Preparedness Event

Learn How to Prepare for Disaster at the 3rd Annual North Valley Disaster Preparedness Event.

Northridge East, Northridge West, Granada Hills South, Granada Hills North, Lake Balboa, Chatsworth and Porter Ranch Neighborhood Councils are organizing the 3rd Annual North Valley Disaster Preparedness Event on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Fire Station 87 in Granada Hills.

The Neighborhood Councils will be giving away 300 emergency preparedness bags, as well as Yogi Bear Shakey-Quakey School House coloring books. Free child ID cards will be available. There will be information and demonstrations from American Red Cross, the L.A. Fire Department, LAPD, DWP, HAM Radio, Community Emergency Response Team, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association and more.
